GSC Cleaner Tutorial
What This Tool Does:
GSC Cleaner is a comprehensive tool that:
- Cleans GSC Data: Removes duplicates, normalizes URLs, calculates missing CTR values, and standardizes column names
- Analyzes Performance: Provides high-level metrics including total clicks, impressions, average CTR, and average position
- Identifies Quick Wins: Automatically detects optimization opportunities with high potential ROI
- Exports Clean Data: Download cleaned CSV files ready for further analysis or reporting
How to Use:
- Export from GSC: Go to Google Search Console โ Performance โ Export โ Download CSV
- Upload CSV: Drag and drop your GSC export into the upload zone
- Select Opportunities: Choose which types of quick wins to detect (Low CTR, Near Page One, etc.)
- Process: Click "Clean & Analyze" to process your data
- Review Results: Examine the stats dashboard and opportunity tables
- Download Reports: Export cleaned data or specific opportunity reports
Quick Win Types:

Best Practices:
- Export Full Date Range: Use at least 3-6 months of data for meaningful insights
- Filter by Device/Country: Analyze mobile vs desktop or specific countries separately for more targeted optimizations
- Prioritize Low CTR Wins: These have immediate impact - no ranking changes needed
- Track Changes: Re-export monthly and compare cleaned data to measure optimization impact
- Combine with Other Tools: Use cleaned data with URL Toolkit or Cannibalization Analyzer for deeper insights
